Project-Based & Blended Learning

"Tell Me and I Forget.

Teach Me and I Remember.

Involve me and I Learn." - Benjamin Franklin

Project Based Learning

Compass Outreach and Education center believes that children should be allowed a variety of ways to demonstrate mastery of a skill. Project Based Learning is a dynamic classroom approach that allows students to incorporate all of their skills and acquire a deeper knowledge through active exploration as they explore real-world problems and challenges which encourage critical thinking and creativity.  Photo Credit: zulama.com

Blended Learning

Blended learning is an approach to education that combines online educational materials and opportunities for interaction online with traditional place-based classroom methods. With the guidance of academic coaches, our students will utilize an online academic curriculum, along with direct learning in all content areas. Direct instruction will reinforce skills and allow students to work collaboratively as they research, analyze, and develop a greater understanding of content.
