Welcome to Compass Outreach & Education Center — a Cognia-accredited, mom-founded microschool created with intention, experience, and heart.

As a mother of five and an educator with over 20 years of experience in education, I knew firsthand that many bright, capable children were not thriving in traditional school environments. Families needed something different — something structured yet flexible, rigorous yet joyful, personalized yet empowering.

Compass was designed to change the face of education.

We believe students should have the opportunity to explore, discover, and Learn in an environment that encourages movement, play, creativity, and individuality. Our goal is simple: we want children to fall in love with learning — and look forward to coming to school every day.

At Compass, we believe children and adults learn best through what we call Strategic Fun & Eclectic Learning.

This approach combines structure and intentional planning with engaging, hands-on experiences. Our customized curriculum intertwines four core educational concepts:

Rather than relying heavily on textbooks or “teaching to the test,” our lessons are driven by meaningful projects and real-world applications. Tucked away from the bustle of daily life, our location offers a beautiful property filled with natural light, open space, and outdoor learning opportunities. Breezy moments, shaded trees, and fresh air become extensions of the classroom.

How We Teach

Our teachers are encouraged to break away from traditional, routine instruction. They design dynamic lessons using project-based and blended learning strategies that awaken students’ curiosity and tailor instruction to each child’s developmental needs.

We combine project-based learning with blended academic tools to ensure students not only master core subjects but also develop real-world skills they can apply in their personal lives.
